Color-Testing on Pollepel Island with the Bannerman Castle Ruin

My family and I ventured out onto the frozen Hudson River last week to color-test aluminum poles for Constellation.

The day was planned around the safety of the right temperature and low tide (only 1 foot deep in these photos). Lars Lindbergh of Tiny House, Inc., the Putnam Valley-based firm working with the Bannerman Island Trust on its restoration, transported 4 sample poles out to the island for me to survey, via binoculars and telephoto camera lens, which color paint blends the most into the castle.
